In order to run Alligator you first need to ensure you have a few other software components installed:

• .NET 1.1 compatible enviroment (such as Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or Mono).
• GTK# 2.4
• Gecko# 2.0

The last two are normally installed with Mono.
